If your condition is not urgent or life‑threatening, you may find faster and more convenient care through other local services. Using the most appropriate service helps ensure that emergency care is available for those who need it most.

Please only attend A&E for emergency or life threatening conditions. There are a range of NHS services available to help you get the right care in the right place: -Community pharmacies can provide advice and treatment for many common conditions. -NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day online and by phone if you're unsure where to go. -GP and out-of-hours services such as the Salisbury Walk-in Centre may also be available depending on your needs. We're also asking that if you have had vomiting or diarrhoea, please stay away from the hospital and wait 48 hours after symptoms stop before visiting. Help us stop infections spreading. Please wash your hands to prevent yourself and others from being sick.
